Dylan Bertalli began building Earn in 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdowns,
after searching for an app or website like it and finding nothing he felt
proud to use. He taught himself to code while earning a degree in Finance at
California State University, Fullerton, then left a finance internship to work
on Earn full time. The Earn iOS app launched in 2024. He works in affiliate
and partner marketing, and writes and speaks on attribution models and the
role of coupon and deal partners in affiliate programs.
